We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our team at Medtronic. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our products and services within an assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Collaborate with our Manager and other business unit colleagues to identify and close revenue-generating opportunities, and provide detailed and bold sales forecasts to achieve quarterly sales revenue targets.
- Build and Maintain Customer Relationships: Develop long-term relationships with customers, own, lead, and contribute to the account blue sheet and strategic selling process, and liaise with Strategic Partnership Manager (SPM) and Regional Sales Manager (RSM) for account development.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research, including customers and competitors' activities, and implement market development plans/strategies and changes as needed.
- Communication and Reporting: Communicate customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders, including R&D, Operations, and Marketing, and report complaints and Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR).
- Strategic Growth and Optimization: Foster a strategic approach to drive consistent growth, manage expenses, and optimize consignment inventory, and be laser-focused on exceeding Annual Operating Plan (AOP) targets.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in the healthcare field.
- Skills and Competencies: High level of integrity, ethics, and compliance, ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule, ability to work independently and proactively, collaborative approach and team-oriented, strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, knowledge of related anatomy and/or surgical procedures, and proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
