Job Title: Spa Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Spa Manager to join our team at Sophia's Nails. As a Spa Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our spa, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our staff are well-trained and motivated.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operations Management: Direct and control daily operations, evaluate daily operations, and plan and organize daily operations to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Staff Management: Hire, train, and supervise staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Financial Management: Plan and control budget and inventory to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Marketing: Manage contracts for advertising or marketing strategies to promote our services and attract new customers.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Beauty shop or aesthetic service.
  • Tasks: Direct and control daily operations, evaluate daily operations, plan and organize daily operations, establish or implement policies and procedures for staff, plan and control budget and inventory, manage contracts for advertising or marketing strategies, hire, train, and supervise staff, address customers' complaints or concerns.
  • Supervision: 3-4 people.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, flexibility, judgement, organized, reliability, team player.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees:
  • Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
Support for Youths:
  • Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
Support for Indigenous People:
  • Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.

Hours of Work: 30 hours per week
