Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator/Project Coordinator to join our team. This role requires strong communication and leadership skills to ensure successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical engineering or technology and experience in general contracting or construction management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate estimates for commercial and industrial construction projects
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure project completion within budget and scope
  • Schedule drawing submittals, hardware delivery, and submit progress claims
  • Meet client requirements for safety, quality, schedule, and cost
  • Recognize and address key issues to expedite solutions
  • Interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Prepare material take-offs, estimates, and schedules
  • Utilize estimating software and expand software capabilities
  • Solicit subcontractor and supplier quotations
  • Prepare construction schedules
Requirements
  • Electrical engineering or technology degree or diploma from an accredited institution
  • Experience in general contracting or construction management
  • Industrial experience an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project and project management software
