Electrical Estimator/Project Coordinator

As a key member of the FCC Construction team, you will play a vital role in the success of our commercial construction projects. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator/Project Coordinator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for various commercial and industrial construction projects.
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely project completion and budget adherence.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, including drawing submittals, hardware delivery, and progress claims.
  • Collaborate with the project team to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize estimating software and expand software capabilities to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Solicit quotations from subcontractors and suppliers, and prepare bid letters and schedules.
  • Prepare construction schedules and coordinate with the project team to ensure timely completion.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical estimating and project coordination.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project and project cost control software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
