About the Role

Ajax Hyundai/Genesis is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for inspecting and repairing vehicles to ensure they meet our high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and diagnose vehicle issues to determine the necessary repairs
  • Perform repairs and maintenance tasks in accordance with manufacturer specifications
  • Test and verify repairs to ensure they meet our quality standards
  • Communicate with customers and service advisors to provide updates on repair status and estimated completion time
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer updates, bulletins, and recalls to ensure our vehicles are serviced to the highest standards
  • Collaborate with other technicians and service advisors to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance technical skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Licensed Technician
  • 310S certification and Class A Automotive Mechanic's license
  • Other certifications or licenses mandated by provincial law
  • Strong automotive background and knowledge of power, machine, and hand tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
