Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Rossland Grocery. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning sales workers to duties, and ensuring the smooth operation of our retail business.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, including assigning duties and providing guidance and support as needed.
- Authorize the return of merchandise and resolve customer complaints in a fair and timely manner.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
- Work collaboratively with the design team to ensure visual merchandising standards are met.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- Experience in retail management or a related field is an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
This is a permanent position working 30-40 hours per week in a rural retail setting. The work language is English.
