Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of store staff, including sales associates, cashiers, and stockroom personnel.
- Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Assign sales workers to duties, including customer service, sales, and stockroom tasks.
- Authorize Return of Merchandise: Authorize the return of merchandise and resolve customer complaints in a fair and professional manner.
- Sell Merchandise: Sell merchandise to customers, including answering questions and providing product information.
- Prepare Reports: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to support business decisions.
- Resolve Issues: Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
- Organize and Maintain Inventory: Organize and maintain inventory levels, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Experience an asset, with a minimum of 1 year of retail experience.
- Language: Fluency in English is required.
- Work Setting: Rural area, retail business.
