About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Oh Doughnuts. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our stores and contributing to the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate Daily Operations: Monitor and assess the performance of our stores, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor Staff Performance: Supervise and evaluate the performance of our staff, providing feedback and coaching to ensure they meet the high standards of our company.
  • Supervise Staff: Lead and manage a team of 5-10 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
  • Train Staff: Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our staff, ensuring they are equipped to provide excellent customer service and meet the needs of our customers.
  • Balance Cash and Complete Balance Sheets: Manage the financial aspects of our stores, including balancing cash and completing balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
  • Conduct Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews with staff members, providing feedback and coaching to help them improve their performance.
  • Organize and Maintain Inventory: Oversee the inventory management process, ensuring that our stores are well-stocked and that inventory levels are optimized.
  • Ensure Health and Safety Regulations are Followed: Ensure that our stores comply with all health and safety regulations, providing a safe and healthy work environment for our staff and customers.
  • Leading/Instructing Individuals: Lead and instruct staff members on various tasks and responsibilities, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
  • Address Customers' Complaints or Concerns: Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that our customers receive excellent service and support.
  • Provide Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that our customers receive a positive experience and are satisfied with our products and services.
  • Manage Events: Assist in the planning and execution of events and promotions, ensuring that they are successful and meet the needs of our customers.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Work Setting: Urban area
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Point of sale system
  • Security and Safety: Bondable
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Attention to detail
