Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Privacy Compliance Specialist to join our team. This role will play a critical part in supporting our corporate privacy management program, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and respond to privacy breaches and incidents, collaborating with internal stakeholders to mitigate risks and implement mitigation measures.
- Conduct and review Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) for internal and external systems, programs, and initiatives, ensuring compliance with privacy legislation.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on privacy matters, drafting policies, procedures, and authorization forms as needed.
- Support the development of training programs and materials to educate employees on privacy best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with privacy regulations and industry standards.
Requirements
- 4 years of experience in a related field, with a strong understanding of privacy legislation and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality in sensitive matters.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
