Healthcare Security Operations Center Coordinator

Paladin Security is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Healthcare Security Operations Center Dispatcher to join our team. As a key member of our security operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the state-of-the-art healthcare Control Centre, monitoring various systems, and handling dispatch duties.
Key Responsibilities:- Dispatch security guards to incidents, requests for assistance, and emergencies
- Maintain control of access to and from the property and affiliated hospitals
- Log details of radio transmissions, telephone calls, and verbal instructions
- Direct backup support as necessary
- Inform management of major incidents
- Maintain the camera surveillance system
- Answer all incoming security telephone lines, including the complex emergency telephone line
- Ensure security operations occur consistently with policy and procedures
- Ability to demonstrate a high degree of professionalism
- Previous security experience is considered an asset
- Experience in healthcare is considered an asset
- Strong command and fluency in the English language, both written and verbal
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Ability to handle stress and pressure and make sound decisions under duress
- Ability to demonstrate high attention to detail and observational awareness
- Ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence and the ability to work productively and efficiently in a team
- Provide First Aid and CPR Level C + AED certification
- Ability to be clean-shaven to pass an N95 Mask Fit Test
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccine (minimum double vaccination)
- Ability to clear a Vulnerable Sector Check (during onboarding)
- Ability to commit to full-time availability for no less than 6 months
