Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Human Resources to join our team at THE 500 SELECTION SERVICES (MA). As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the HR department and ensuring that our employees are supported and empowered to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Strategy
    • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives
    • Provide guidance and direction to HR staff to ensure effective execution of HR programs and initiatives
  • Employee Relations
    • Administer staff consultation and grievance procedures to ensure a fair and respectful work environment
    • Assign projects to subordinates and staff relating to employment, compensation, labour relations, and employee relations
  • HR Operations
    • Coordinate the activities of the HR department to ensure they meet the organization's goals and objectives
    • Direct and control daily operations to ensure efficient and effective HR service delivery
    • Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed
  • Training and Development
    • Plan and organize training programs to develop the skills and knowledge of HR staff and other employees
    • Establish and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
  • Recruitment and Hiring
    • Recruit and hire staff to meet the organization's needs
    • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Experience
    • 5 years or more of experience in HR, preferably in a leadership role
  • Certifications
    • Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) or equivalent
