Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at 9066-5720Québec inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that food and service meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that we meet the needs of our customers
  • Hire and train food service staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment
  • Ensure that all food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future planning
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays, ensuring that they are presented in a clean and attractive manner
  • Inspect sites or facilities to ensure that they meet safety and cleanliness standards, promoting a healthy and safe work environment
Work Environment

The Shift Manager will work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods and working under pressure to meet the demands of our customers. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service or culinary role
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
