Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager (HVAC) to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing various HVAC jobs, from chillers and VRF systems to boilers and commercial HVAC retrofit and new construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Management: Assist clients with HVAC solutions by assessing issues and providing expert advice.
  • Estimating and Design: Estimate and design customer-specific solutions for HVAC replacement and installations, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Project Coordination: Review project drawings and specifications, understand mechanical drawings, and identify potential issues.
  • Change Order Management: Identify and manage change orders, ensuring timely and cost-effective resolution.
  • Site Management: Attend site project meetings, coordinate project schedules, and monitor field progress and schedules.
  • Financial Management: Track job costing and profitability, create material and labor budgets, and manage POs, supplier, and subcontractor invoices.
  • Reporting and Forecasting: Track and report project progress and job costing, and prepare and submit monthly progress and billing forecasts.
  • Team Management: Coordinate work crews, materials, and subtrades, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure Health and Safety protocols are set up and adhered to on all projects.
  • Project Completion: Prepare O&M manuals and As Built documents for project completion.
Requirements
  • Education: (313A) HVACR designation with service/projects background.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in estimating/project management.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational skills, effective communication and negotiation skills, ability to read and interpret specifications and mechanical drawings, knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, hydronics, and construction codes.
  • Certifications: PMP, CET (recommended).
