The Pension and Retirement Consultant will report directly to the Principal Consultant & Practice Lead. The ideal candidate will oversee a portfolio of clients to ensure exceptional levels of client satisfaction and retention. This position involves consulting and collaborating with clients on their employee retirement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients to guarantee high levels of satisfaction and retention while identifying avenues for growth.
  • Collaborate with various teams to contribute to the overall growth strategy of the organization.
  • Deliver annual plan reviews, marketing strategies, plan member communication, and additional projects for your client portfolio.
  • Mentor and support team members to foster their professional development.
  • Receive assistance from colleagues in managing client relationships, including support for annual plan reviews and investment assessments.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of the retirement sector with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • A post-secondary degree in a related discipline, such as business administration, or equivalent training through a combination of relevant work experience and education.
  • Strong networking capabilities within the community and at industry events, coupled with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-driven with a proven track record of contributing to business growth.
  • Possession of an LLQP license in Ontario or a willingness to obtain one.
  • CEBS designation (or progress towards it) is a plus.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel within the designated region.
