Job Summary

The Early Childhood Development Association is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Coordinator to lead the Handle with Care program. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating program activities, developing relationships with community partners, and ensuring the program's integrity and mission are upheld.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze program data, facilitator data, and promotional data.
  • Present data in interim and final reports to funders.
  • Develop an annual Handle with Care program calendar.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with community partners.
  • Work collaboratively with ECDA staff, Master Trainers, and facilitators.
  • Coordinate facilitator gatherings and professional development.
  • Chair and report to the Handle with Care Advisory Committee.
  • Meet firm deadlines and deliverables outlined in contractual agreements with funders.
  • Review and approve grant applications and payments to programs.
  • Review and approve final reports submitted by recipients.
  • Stay up-to-date on child development and science of resiliency.
  • Co-facilitate four programs per fiscal year.
Requirements
  • A diploma or degree related to working with children and families.
  • A minimum of three years of experience working with children and families.
  • A clear Criminal Record check.
  • Handle with Care Facilitation (an asset).
  • Hourly wage range: $30.00 (commensurate with experience and education).
  • Full-time employment (one-year contract with possible extension).
  • Evening and weekend requirements.
  • Travel requirements with reimbursement.
  • Health and dental coverage at 100% by the ECDA.
  • Professional development coverage offered by the ECDA.
  • Five personal days.
