About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales and Distribution Manager to join our team at BC Building Products Ltd. as a key member of our commercial sales team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Determine and implement strategic plans related to new product lines, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Organizational Development: Establish and maintain organizational policies and procedures in relation to sales, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Sales Leadership: Lead and manage a team of sales professionals in building relationships with business clients, negotiating sales contracts, and driving revenue growth.
  • Operational Management: Organize and direct regional and divisional sales operations, ensuring efficient use of resources and effective sales strategies.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and manage staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Cross-Cultural Competency: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers, refugees, and Indigenous workers.
  • Youth Support: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
  • Indigenous Support: Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
  • Work Environment: Ensure a safe and inclusive work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in sales and distribution management.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
