About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join our team at Inderjit Singh Gill, Gurjinder Singh. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, cutting and fitting them to meet precise specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to create smooth, even surfaces.
  • Cut openings in lath for heating and ventilation piping, ducts, and electrical outlets.
  • Install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings.
  • Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists.
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings.
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners.
Work Environment

You will be working in a fast-paced commercial and residential construction environment, with varying locations and tasks. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a dusty and noisy environment, with the ability to lift heavy loads and work at heights.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in drywall installation.
  • Ability to work at heights and lift heavy loads.
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
