- Admissions and Student Progression: Maintains up-to-date knowledge of college programs, entry requirements, and student records, while performing technical duties associated with student admissions.
- Computer Systems: Serves as a key resource, ensuring familiarity with computer systems pertinent to student records, analyzing issues, proposing enhancements for service efficiency, managing requests for digital processes, documenting internal procedures, and providing explanations to relevant parties.
- Course Scheduling: Coordinates educational activities by cataloging courses and skills, inputting them into computer systems, updating academic programs and course outlines, and ensuring the accuracy of course-related information, including prerequisites and equivalencies, while generating and distributing associated documents.
- Academic Records and Sanctions: Aids in the recording and retrieval of academic performance, processes requests for diplomas, and prepares statistical reports and recommendations.
- Data Management for Ministry Reporting: Oversees and verifies data processing and accuracy related to the submission of information to the ministry, managing both student and educational data.
- Scheduling: Occasionally engages in the planning of courses and examinations, designs timetables, rectifies discrepancies, and produces schedules for students and instructors while considering scheduling constraints.
Qualifications:
- DEC in administration with relevant specialization or DEC in secretarial studies with appropriate specialization, or an equivalent recognized by the relevant authority.
- Proficient in Office suite and specialized database management software (minimum passing score: 60%).
- Familiarity with computer systems development.
- Capable of creating schedules based on provided information and constraints (minimum passing score: 60%).
- Strong command of spoken and written French (minimum passing score: 60%).
Compensation: $24.21 to $32.32 per hour
