We are seeking an experienced Administrative Specialist to join our team at Ancaster Cardiology Cost Sharing Corp. As an Administrative Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting our medical office by providing administrative assistance and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic.
Key Responsibilities- Scheduling and Coordination
- Schedule and confirm appointments with patients and healthcare professionals
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and care
- Administrative Support
- Complete insurance and other claim forms accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a well-organized filing system to ensure easy access to patient records
- Order supplies and maintain inventory to ensure a smooth-running office
- Office Management
- Determine and establish office procedures and routines to ensure efficiency and productivity
- Enter and format electronically based medical reports and correspondence
- Prepare spreadsheets and documents for review by healthcare professionals
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records
- Interpret language for individuals and small groups
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
- Education and Experience
- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a medical office or administrative role
- Language Skills
- English language proficiency
- Spanish; Castilian language skills an asset
- Computer and Technology Skills
