Food Service Supervisor

Join the Subway Sandwiches and Salads team as a Food Service Supervisor and take on a challenging role that requires strong leadership and organizational skills. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food products.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules for food service staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak periods.
- Requisition Food and Supplies: Order and manage inventory of food, beverages, and supplies to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Supervise Food Preparation: Oversee the preparation and presentation of food and beverages to meet quality control standards.
- Train and Develop Staff: Provide on-the-job training and coaching to food service staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Manage Budget and Cost Estimates: Prepare and manage budgets for food, supplies, and labor to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Address Customer Complaints: Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain Records: Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and customer feedback to inform business decisions.
As a Food Service Supervisor, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a high level of customer interaction. You must be able to multitask, prioritize tasks, and maintain a positive attitude in a dynamic work environment.
Requirements:- Secondary School Diploma: A secondary school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience: Previous experience in food service or a related field is an asset.
- Language: Fluency in English is required.
