Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway Sandwiches and Salads. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that food is prepared and served to our high standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Food Preparation and Service: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared and served to our high standards.
- Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Staff Management: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, supervise and check assembly of trays, and supervise and check delivery of food trolleys.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Administrative Tasks: Prepare budget and cost estimates, prepare and submit reports, and maintain accurate records.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Skills: Excellent oral communication, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, and team player.
Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, and attention to detail.
