IT Solutions Analyst

Spark Power Corp, a reliable partner in the energy sector across North America, is seeking an IT Solutions Analyst to enhance our operational capabilities. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders to deliver robust and scalable solutions in software applications and business workflows within the organization. The ideal candidate will work alongside various teams to improve applications and business processes that align with the organization's strategic goals. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities of the IT Solutions Analyst:

  • Lead the gathering and interpretation of business requirements into comprehensive system and technical specifications
  • Facilitate project advancement and ensure timely delivery
  • Contribute to the design and enhancement of applications
  • Collaborate with different departments and operational teams to ensure alignment
  • Serve as a vital resource throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Project Life Cycle
  • Maintain impartiality to guarantee that solutions meet business objectives
  • Assist in troubleshooting tickets and application-related challenges
  • Identify and escalate issues to IT management and/or business process owners as necessary
  • Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and recommendations
  • Create and uphold comprehensive documentation

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Degree or post-graduate qualification in a business or STEM field
  • Relevant certifications for ongoing professional development
  • At least 5 years of experience in Implementation consulting or as a Business Analyst
  • Proficient in understanding and refining business requirements
  • Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems such as Oracle Cloud ERP, JDE, SAP S/4HANA
  • Knowledge of change management principles
  • Proven experience in delivering business solutions within an agile framework
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to manage multiple project deliverables effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-driven with a proactive approach to learning
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Visio, and Wireframing Tools
