IT Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities of the IT Business Analyst:

  • Lead the gathering and interpretation of business requirements into comprehensive system and technical specifications.
  • Facilitate progress on projects of small to medium scale.
  • Contribute to the overall design necessary for application improvements.
  • Build and maintain relationships across departments; regularly collaborate with different teams to drive value and ensure transparency.
  • Serve as a vital resource during various phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Project Life Cycle.
  • Maintain objectivity in work to ensure solutions are aligned with business objectives.
  • Assist in resolving assigned tickets and application-related issues promptly.
  • Escalate any issues and concerns to IT management and/or business process owners as necessary.
  • Make informed, data-driven decisions and recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain necessary documentation.

Qualifications We Are Looking For:

  • University degree or postgraduate education in a business or STEM field.
  • Additional certifications demonstrating a commitment to ongoing education are advantageous.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Implementation consulting or as a Business Analyst.
  • Proven ability to effectively comprehend and refine business requirements.
  • Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems such as Oracle Cloud ERP, JDE, or SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable.
  • Established understanding of change management principles is a strong asset.
  • Experience in delivering business solutions within an agile framework is beneficial.
  • Proficient in data analysis, queries, and reporting to support root cause analysis of issues.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality outcomes.
  • Ability to manage deliverables across multiple projects in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a high degree of initiative, accountability, and a desire to learn.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Visio, and Wireframing Tools.
