About the Role:
Spark Power Corp is seeking a highly skilled IT Business Solutions Analyst to join our team in Oakville. As a key member of our organization, you will work closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality and scalable solutions in software applications and business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the collection and translation of business requirements into detailed system and technical requirements.
- Facilitate progress on small to medium-sized projects.
- Understand and contribute to the overall design required for application enhancements.
- Foster relationships across the organization; collaborate regularly with various departments and operational teams to drive value and demonstrate transparency.
- Act as a key resource in various stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Project Life Cycle.
- Maintain objectivity with own work to ensure solutions are aligned and consistent with business objectives.
- Support in the resolution of assigned tickets and application-related issues in a timely manner.
- Raise and escalate any issues and concerns with IT management and/or business process owners.
- Make data-driven decisions and recommendations.
- Develop and maintain documentation as required.
Requirements:
- University or postgraduate education in a business or STEM discipline.
- Additional certifications that exemplify a desire for continued education is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an implementation consulting or business analyst capacity.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively understand and refine business requirements.
- Experience in NetSuite or other ERPs such as Oracle Cloud ERP, JDE, SAP S/4HANA is a strong asset.
- Established understanding of change management is a strong asset.
- Experience in delivering business solutions in an agile environment is an asset.
- Experience in analyzing data, queries, and reports to support root cause analysis of reported issues.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on the production of quality.
- Ability to manage deliverables across multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a high level of initiative, accountability, and eagerness to learn.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Visio, Wireframing Tools.
