Position Overview

The Food Retail Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our retail establishment. This position is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the store run smoothly and efficiently.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 to less than 3 years in a supervisory role within a retail environment.
Work Environment
  • Non-smoking environment.
  • Air-conditioned workspace.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff including grocery clerks and shelf stockers.
  • Assign duties to sales personnel to optimize workflow.
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members.
  • Manage inventory and order merchandise as needed.
  • Authorize returns of merchandise and handle customer inquiries.
  • Prepare detailed reports on sales performance and staff matters.
  • Address and resolve any issues that arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
