Food Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Store Supervisor to join our team at Cornerstone African Foodland Inc. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our grocery store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Train Staff: Lead and motivate a team of grocery clerks and shelf stockers to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
- Merchandise Management: Order and manage inventory, authorize returns, and ensure that our store is well-stocked and visually appealing.
- Sales and Customer Service: Assign sales workers to duties, sell merchandise, and resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Store Operations: Organize and maintain inventory, supervise and coordinate activities of workers, and ensure that the store is clean and safe for customers.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a retail or grocery store environment.
- Language: English.
- Work Environment: Non-smoking, air-conditioned.
- Work Setting: Retail service establishment, retail business, wholesale establishment/store.
- Travel: Willing to travel, travel expenses paid by employer.
