Food Store Supervisor Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Store Supervisor to join our team at Cornerstone African Foodland Inc. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our grocery store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of grocery clerks and shelf stockers
- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure efficient store operations
- Hire and train staff, or arrange for their training
- Order merchandise and authorize returns
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
- Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages
- Organize and maintain inventory
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a retail store environment
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- Ability to work on site and in a non-smoking, air-conditioned environment
