Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Buffo. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment. You will work closely with our Sous Chef, Chef, and General Manager to ensure that our menu is executed to perfection.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items to the highest standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications
  • Assist with food inventory and control
  • Receive and store delivered items
  • Adhere to sanitation, food safety, and hygiene guidelines
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of cooking experience in a fast-paced restaurant
  • Culinary diploma/degree is an asset
  • Basic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • Able to spend 100% of the time standing
