Education:
- Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Willingness to relocate is required for this position.
Key Responsibilities- Collect samples from various plants and products for analysis.
- Enforce relevant government acts and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety standards within the workplace.
- Communicate necessary standards to agricultural personnel.
- Conduct thorough inspections of agricultural products.
- Identify harmful diseases, chemical residues, or infestations through inspections.
- Interpret and clarify government regulations and acts.
- Maintain detailed inspection records and prepare comprehensive reports.
- Route agricultural samples to laboratories for necessary testing.
- Examine storage and transportation methods to ensure sanitary practices.
- Inspect cleanliness and operational practices of employees.
- Address consumer and trade complaints effectively.
- Take immediate action, such as halting production, if safety is compromised.
- Assess product quality and market readiness.
