Agricultural Products Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Agricultural Products Inspection Supervisor to join our team at Great Northern Hydroponics. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our agricultural products.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and inspect samples from plants or products to ensure compliance with government regulations and industry standards.
- Enforce government acts and regulations related to agricultural products, ensuring that all products meet the required standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of agricultural products to detect any harmful diseases, chemical residues, or infestations.
- Explain required standards to agricultural workers and ensure that they understand the importance of quality and safety.
- Prepare and maintain inspection records and reports, providing detailed information on the quality and safety of our products.
- Collaborate with our team to develop and implement quality control procedures, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards.
- 5+ years of experience in agricultural products inspection or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of government regulations and industry standards related to agricultural products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with our team and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and a high level of attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
