Agricultural Products Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Agricultural Products Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Great Northern Hydroponics. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our agricultural products, from farm to table.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and inspect samples from plants or products to ensure compliance with government regulations and industry standards.
- Enforce government acts and regulations related to agricultural products, including health and safety regulations.
- Explain required standards to agricultural workers and ensure they understand the importance of quality and safety.
- Inspect agricultural products to detect harmful diseases, chemical residues, or infestations, and take corrective action as necessary.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and complete reports in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient quality control process.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 5 years or more of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
