Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Melvin Tan Sushi Company. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Determine the size of food portions and costs, prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
  • Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Cleanliness: Clean kitchen and work areas.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year or equivalent experience.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail, physical demands, and the ability to work under pressure. You will be standing for extended periods and working in a team environment.
