We are seeking a skilled Executive Chef to join our team at Melvin Tan Sushi Company. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as training staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food.

The successful candidate will be responsible for determining the size of food portions and costs, maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, and cleaning kitchen and work areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine the size of food portions and costs
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience or equivalent experience
