Leica Geosystems, a leader in precision measurement technology, is seeking a dedicated Commercial Sales Manager to oversee sales initiatives across the USA and Canada. Position Overview

The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for technology and a proven track record in sales. You will be tasked with identifying, nurturing, and managing sales opportunities for our Reality Capture solutions, focusing on both new and existing market segments.

Your primary objective will be to expand our customer base while also engaging with current clients to meet quarterly sales targets. This role emphasizes lead generation, prospecting, and the development of effective sales strategies and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance sales growth of Leica Geosystems solutions across various market segments.
  • Drive revenue through proactive outreach, event participation, and collaboration with channel partners.
  • Maintain accurate quarterly sales forecasts.
  • Initiate and manage communications with both current and prospective customers to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Assess customer needs and serve as a key contact during their decision-making process.
  • Leverage resources across departments, including Marketing and Product Management, to facilitate sales closures.
  • Innovate and implement unique sales strategies to uncover new business opportunities.
  • Contribute to marketing efforts, including campaigns and trade shows.
  • Utilize CRM tools to ensure data accuracy and support sales initiatives.
  • Engage in additional projects as required.

Qualifications

  • 5-6 years of experience in B2B or Inside Sales.
  • Comfortable and confident in a phone-based sales environment.
  • Familiarity with the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of laser scanning and LIDAR technologies is preferred.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Exceptional sales, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
