Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and execution of environmental studies, assessments, and permit applications for various projects.
  • Oversee the creation and refinement of environmental and social impact assessment reports, ensuring thorough review and strategic insight.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify and implement improvements in project design and regulatory processes.
  • Provide expert technical support on environmental compliance and governance for ongoing projects.
  • Engage with First Nations, government entities, stakeholders, and communities to facilitate assessment and permitting processes.
  • Promote collaboration with First Nations to incorporate their knowledge and perspectives into assessments and applications.
  • Represent Ensero Solutions in regulatory meetings and community engagements, preparing necessary presentation materials.
  • Stay informed on legislative and regulatory developments that may affect projects, disseminating relevant information within the organization.
  • Foster professional relationships within the industry to support Ensero's strategic growth initiatives.
  • Assist in the development of client proposals and explore business opportunities in mining and related sectors.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of technical deliverables within areas of expertise.
  • Support project management through risk analysis and mentoring of team members.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental health and safety standards.
  • Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as required.

Candidate Profile:

  • A university degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in environmental impact assessments.
  • Experience in environmental consulting or project management.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with First Nations and government officials.
  • Familiarity with impact assessment and licensing processes in Yukon, British Columbia, and other regions.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
