Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage multiple projects, ensuring deliverables meet client expectations for scope, budget, schedule, and quality.
- Drive the preparation of environmental assessments, permit applications, and associated management plans, with a focus on mining projects in British Columbia.
- Contribute to business development, identifying and developing new opportunities, preparing effective proposals, and taking a leadership role in developing new business with new and existing clients.
- Lead, manage performance, hire, and retain personnel for overall success of project management team.
- Actively contribute to ERM's project management technical community and collaborate with other ERM global practitioners to execute projects.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sciences, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 6 years of consulting experience in impact assessment and permitting, specifically in the mining sector in BC.
- Well-developed team building and influencing skills, unquestionable integrity, and experience, confidence, and stature to effectively address client and business needs and challenges.
- Demonstrated experience working with provincial and federal regulatory agencies, Indigenous organizations, and the public, with a strong understanding of key drivers within the mining sector in BC.
- High degree of project management competence and broad knowledge of impact assessment best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management approaches/tools.
- Ability to rise to the challenge in high-pressure environments, managing diverse internal and external stakeholders, and becoming energized by a vibrant team of colleagues based across the country and the globe.
- Leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor collaborative teams, demonstrate ERM values, and become a safety ambassador.
