Job Title: HR Recruitment Associate

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Recruitment Associate to join our team at the BC Centre for Excellence in HIV/AIDS. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day recruitment operations and contributing to the accomplishment of recruitment goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement overall recruiting strategy
  • Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
  • Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives
  • Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards/newspapers/colleges etc.
  • Source and recruit candidates by using BC-CfE's recruitment platforms
  • Screen candidates' resumes and job applications
  • Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule
  • Assess applicants' relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes
  • Filling up vacant positions efficiently
  • Onboard new employees in order to become fully integrated
  • Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices
  • Provide analytical and well-documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
  • Promote company's reputation throughout the entire recruitment process
Requirements:
  • A level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or diploma/certificate in Human Resources plus a minimum of three to five (2-5) years of recent, related experience.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Aptitude to listen, ascertain the needs of clients, and respond accordingly in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong, positive relationships and effectively work with various stakeholders and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of standard HR policies and practices, and related employment legislation.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collect data from a variety of sources, analyze, produce reports, and make recommendations.
  • Ability to work independently and as an effective team member.
  • Able to multi-task, organize, and prioritize workload to manage concurrent projects and successfully meet deadlines.
  • Work well with frequent interruptions. Commitment to the value of continuous learning and an open curiosity for new ideas and innovation.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage others to ensure success in the workplace.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and ability to utilize related equipment and computerized software packages such as the Microsoft Office suite at an advanced level.
