FX Outsource Lead

We are seeking an experienced FX Outsource Lead to join our team at Borderless Capital. As a key member of our art pipeline, you will be responsible for overseeing the creative content provided by outsourced partners and ensuring it meets our high standards.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with individual art leads and outsource managers to provide front-line creative feedback on work submitted to us for review.
- Supervise and support creative content provided by outsourced partners, ensuring it is of high quality and meets our technical requirements.
- Develop and maintain documentation of existing pipelines, collect and create quality bars and technical example assets, collect photo references, create asset block-outs, and package files for external partners.
- Communicate effectively with outsourced partners, ensuring clear and concise feedback is provided and implemented successfully.
- Partner with internal art staff to ensure assets received from outsource partners are ingested into the pipeline and engine correctly.
- Execute hands-on art production, deliver assets to external partners, provide bug support and triage, and facilitate final polish on art assets received by the outsourcing team.
- Experience with shipping and optimizing AAA titles across multiple platforms or other large-scale creative projects.
- Experience in game art asset creation across various software packages, including Houdini, Maya, 3ds Max, Photoshop, Substance, etc.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to deliver complex, creative feedback to external vendors and communicate effectively with high-level leadership.
- Highly organized, self-driven, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a high-pressure production environment.
- Fluency in a language other than English is a plus, particularly Chinese, German, Spanish, Italian, or Russian.
