Purpose:

The Senior Sales and Marketing Manager will report directly to the VP of Accoravillage and will be instrumental in formulating and implementing strategic sales and marketing initiatives aimed at boosting revenue and increasing market presence. As a vital member of the management team, this position will oversee our sales and marketing professionals and collaborate with various departments to meet organizational goals. The Senior Sales and Marketing Manager will also nurture robust relationships with existing partners, dealers, distributors, and producers while pursuing strategic avenues to generate new business opportunities, thereby enhancing Accoravillage's standing as a frontrunner in the animal nutrition sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Formulate the Sales and Marketing strategy to significantly accelerate Accoravillage's growth over the next three years, encompassing partnerships, innovation, and distribution channels.
  2. Guide, mentor, and cultivate our sales and marketing team to ensure peak performance and achievement of company objectives.
  3. Establish clear goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales and marketing teams.
  4. Conduct ongoing market assessments to evaluate the success of sales and marketing strategies.
  5. Provide regular updates and insights to senior management regarding market trends and performance metrics.
  6. Assist the Marketing team in creating and disseminating consistent messaging to safeguard and expand the business.
  7. Develop and sustain strong relationships with current distribution partners.
  8. Identify, cultivate, and secure new outreach strategies to drive company growth and profitability.
  9. Build and maintain a comprehensive pipeline of potential distribution partners across Canada.
  10. Spot new product opportunities for distribution to existing partners and share customer insights with key internal stakeholders.
  11. Stay informed about the latest industry trends, including feeding technologies that will enable Accoravillage to maintain its competitive edge.
  12. Establish strong connections with leading researchers, consultants, veterinarians, and influencers to explore collaboration opportunities that enhance our knowledge and brand.
  13. Develop the capability to engage directly with larger farms to facilitate sales through existing distribution channels.

Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in leading sales and marketing, with a proven history of developing both strategic and tactical plans that yield profitable growth, preferably within the Animal Nutrition or Agricultural sectors.
  2. A demonstrated ability to successfully expand market presence, create new business opportunities, and attract new clients.
  3. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and networking skills, with a preference for candidates already recognized within the agricultural community.
  4. Prior leadership experience in supporting Sales and Marketing teams.
  5. A strategic mindset complemented by strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  6. Proven ability to build and maintain solid relationships with key stakeholders.
  7. Willingness to travel across Canada for various events and potential new partnerships.
