The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager, Creative and Production to lead our Production and Creative Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering outstanding creation, execution, delivery, and client services to our internal and external clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership: Provide strong leadership and guidance to team members to excel in their roles and responsibilities.
- Team Management: Manage the team to foster a collaborative and supportive work environment where team members can thrive and contribute their best work.
- Creative Direction: Contribute to the creative direction for projects, working closely with internal stakeholders to understand program objectives.
- Execution and Delivery: Ensure that projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget, while maintaining a keen eye for detail and quality.
- Quality Assurance: Uphold high standards of quality in all creative deliverables, conducting regular reviews and evaluations and providing constructive feedback to team members.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in creative services and production management.
- Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process optimization and innovation, driving efficiencies and enhancing the overall effectiveness of the team.
- Collaboration and Communication: Foster a culture of collaboration and open communication across departments.
- Budget Management & Profitability: Develop and oversee budgeting for events and programs, ensuring that creative ideas are executed within the allocated budget.
- Project Planning and Management: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Reconciliations: Lead the reconciliation process to support the internal team as required to ensure final reconciliations are completed and sent to the client.
Requirements
- Leadership Experience: Minimum 5 years of progressive management/leadership experience.
- Project Management Experience: Minimum 2 years of project management experience.
- Production Experience: 3-5 years of experience executing, developing, and delivering production elements for events.
- Industry Experience: Minimum 8 years of related experience, ideally in an agency environment servicing complex client requirements or within entertainment/media production.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Administrative Skills: Well-developed administrative and analytical skills; meticulous attention to detail.
- Education: Completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma in business or related discipline.
- Technical Skills: Experience with Microsoft Office & Google Suite.
