About the Role

MNP is seeking a skilled Receptionist to join our Administration team in Brossard. As a trusted advisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional telephone service, answering and directing calls to the appropriate person in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Greet visitors and answer questions as required, directing them to the appropriate location and providing necessary documents.
  • Work with office staff to improve speed and efficiency of service, ensuring the office is open in the mornings and protected against break-ins during lunch hours, staff absences, and after hours.
  • Process and distribute mail daily, maintain documents required for work, and provide administrative support to office staff as needed.
  • Prepare the office meeting room prior to meetings and clean it up afterwards, assisting in sending and transmitting faxes, photocopies, signs, messages for employees, management, etc.
  • Report problematic events or questions to management.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate dynamic, efficient, and team-oriented skills.
  • Exhibit superior written and verbal communication skills, professionalism, and discretion.
  • Show autonomy and initiative, adaptability, and stress management skills.
  • Display good judgment, effective management of priorities, organizational skills, and openness to criticism.
  • Have excellent knowledge of French and English (spoken and written).
  • Possess a DEP in secretarial studies or any combination of relevant experience and training.
  • Have 3 years' experience in a similar position.
  • Be bilingual in French and English.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
