Position Overview

Rehoboth Electrical Services Inc is seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems and a commitment to safety and quality.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years.
Work Environment
  • Work may involve heights, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions.
  • Exposure to dusty environments is expected.
Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct tests on electrical and electronic systems to ensure proper functionality.
  • Install, maintain, and repair switchgear, transformers, and other electrical components.
  • Handle maintenance and installation of motors, generators, and control systems.
  • Manage inventory of electrical materials and components.
  • Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems and related devices.
  • Interpret and apply electrical code specifications.
  • Implement preventive maintenance programs and maintain detailed records.
  • Read and analyze technical drawings and schematics for electrical installations.
Travel Requirements
  • Willingness to travel as required for job assignments.
Physical Demands
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail are essential.
  • Ability to perform a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Must be capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods are part of the role.

  • Strong accuracy and client-focused approach.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility and sound judgment are important.
  • Organizational skills and ability to work as part of a team are required.
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years and less than 3 years of relevant experience.
  • This is a permanent position with full-time hours ranging from 30 to 40 hours per week.
