Position Overview

Rehoboth Electrical Services Inc is seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems and a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or equivalent non-university program lasting 1 to 2 years.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years and less than 3 years in a similar role.
Work Environment
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Exposure to dusty conditions and outdoor environments.
Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct tests on electrical and electronic components to ensure functionality.
  • Install, maintain, and repair switchgear, transformers, and other electrical apparatus.
  • Oversee the maintenance and testing of electrical motors and hydraulic control systems.
  • Manage inventory of materials and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems and related devices.
  • Interpret and apply electrical code specifications.
  • Implement preventive maintenance programs and maintain accurate records.
  • Read and analyze technical drawings and schematics for electrical installations.
Travel Requirements

Willingness to travel as needed for various job assignments.

Physical Demands
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail are essential.
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Must be capable of handling heavy loads and performing physically demanding tasks.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
