We own and operate Canada's largest network of outpatient medical clinics and provide a leading multi-national multi-disciplinary telehealth offering.
Position Summary:
The VP Finance will oversee all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as finance shared services teams. This role will serve as the right-hand to the Chief Accounting Officer to support the organization's growth objectives. As a key member of the management team, the VP Finance will take a strategic role in the overall management of the financial operations of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Finance team in developing and implementing financial strategies to drive growth and profitability.
- Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS reporting standards.
- Develop and lead a strong Finance team that is effective in meeting the objectives of WELL.
- Provide high-level oversight of accounting policies and drive development of new procedures and internal controls.
- Execute the monthly close process and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal management reporting and external reporting to shareholders and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's and/or master's degree, along with a CPA designation.
- More than 10 years of senior financial management experience in an operational finance role in a high-growth organization of significant scale and complexity.
- Proven track record of leading teams responsible for financial reporting, including developing financial reports and statements.
- In-depth understanding of accounting principles and experience in creating systems and processes to ensure comprehensive review and validation of financial statements.
- Demonstrated experience in large, growing, publicly traded companies, ideally with experience in the technology sector.
What We Offer:
WELL offers a competitive salary range of $175,000-$200,000 CAD, depending on experience and qualifications. We are committed to supporting a diverse, inclusive, and accessible workplace and welcome applications from qualified candidates.
