Beem Credit Union is a leading financial institution in British Columbia, with a strong commitment to serving its members and the community. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Infrastructure and Operations Leader to join our team.
Job SummaryThe Senior Infrastructure and Operations Leader will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our IT infrastructure and operations strategy, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our systems and services. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes and improve the overall member experience.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive IT infrastructure and operations strategy that aligns with business objectives and drives innovation.
- Lead the planning, implementation, and management of IT infrastructure and operations projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Collaborate with IT teams to design, implement, and maintain IT systems and services that meet business needs and ensure high levels of availability and performance.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and vendors, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends, and make recommendations for their adoption and integration into our IT infrastructure and operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure and operations, with a strong background in cloud computing, virtualization, and IT service management.
- Proven track record of leading IT infrastructure and operations projects and teams, with a focus on delivering business outcomes and improving the member experience.
- Strong technical skills, including experience with cloud platforms, virtualization, and IT service management tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
