Senior Analyst - Financial Planning & Analysis

Definity Financial is seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst to join our team in Financial Planning & Analysis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing valuable insights and financial analysis to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the business in financial planning and forecasting through reports that facilitate performance analysis of business targets.
  • Prepare timely and accurate divisional business performance reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify process gaps and work with internal controls to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Reconcile results with Financial Plans to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial management reporting and business performance analysis.
  • Superior written and verbal communication/presentation skills and ability to interact with senior executives and other cross-divisional leaders.
  • Recognized accounting, insurance, or actuarial designation an asset.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and data modeling required.
  • Experience with quantitative software applications including SQL would be an asset.
