Customer Service Representative

At West Coast Reduction Ltd., we are committed to sustainability and innovation in the food waste management sector. Our operations focus on transforming food waste and by-products into valuable resources, contributing to a cleaner environment and healthier communities.

We are currently seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our Call Centre Operations. This pivotal role involves managing incoming communications from our customer base, addressing service inquiries, processing payments, and providing essential information. As the first point of contact, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through effective resolution of issues.

This position is full-time and permanent, with a structured schedule during standard business hours, ensuring a balanced work-life dynamic.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Act as the brand ambassador for West Coast Reduction Ltd. by handling all incoming calls with professionalism Resolve customer complaints efficiently or escalate them as necessary, providing suitable solutions Ensure high-quality customer service by following up on previous interactions and maintaining a positive experience Collaborate with team members to meet departmental objectives and performance metrics Respond to all forms of customer communication, adhering to established service standards Maintain and update customer profiles accurately based on interactions Address service requests promptly and coordinate appropriate responses Manage service interruptions for closed or inactive accounts Engage in outbound service initiatives as required Correct inaccuracies in service orders and documentation Document customer interactions and data accurately in the CRM system Participate in after-hours support for urgent customer needs

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent education preferred 2-3 years of experience in a customer service environment is advantageous Ability to work independently with minimal oversight Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
