Job Title: Administrative Services Assistant

Fernie Health Centre is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Administrative Services Assistant to join their team

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the healthcare team, including data entry, reception, and Health Unit Aide duties. This is a casual opportunity with a variety of shifts available.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform data entry, including gathering, organizing, and verifying information
  • Prepare presentations, arrange meetings, and transcribe minutes
  • Schedule and confirm client appointments, and receive, record, and check balances of cash transactions
  • Maintain and clean medical/surgical supplies, equipment, and HCIS resource material
  • Weigh and measure babies, calibrate equipment, and perform vision screenings

Requirements:

  • Current Typing Test 40 wpm or greater completed within past 48 months from a recognized institution
  • Office Administration Certificate
  • Current valid BC Driver's License
  • Resume and Cover Letter stating availability to start in a new position
