The Chemical Engineer is currently in search of a Lead Process Engineer to enhance our team within the chemical sector.

The ideal candidate will be involved in projects spanning various domains, including refining, petrochemical production, and energy transition initiatives.

We are looking for seasoned engineers who possess the dedication and expertise to significantly impact our performance throughout the entire project lifecycle, from initial studies to detailed design phases.

The Chemical Engineer distinguishes itself by delivering exceptional projects that align with our clients' expectations. Candidates with robust technical and communication skills, along with safety experience in the relevant sectors, are encouraged to consider this opportunity.

This position will follow our standard hybrid work model.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize advanced technical knowledge to accomplish process engineering tasks with minimal oversight.
  • Conduct sizing of process equipment and pipelines, optimizing control strategies to aid in the development of Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
  • Collaborate with various engineering disciplines and engage with clients effectively.
  • Oversee projects from conceptual studies through to detailed engineering phases, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Lead and mentor a team of process engineers, providing support and guidance to junior and intermediate staff.
  • Review all process engineering outputs to ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
  • Manage regular reporting, scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination with partner offices.
  • Stay informed about advancements in technical skills and emerging technologies within the industry.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience, primarily in refining, petrochemicals, or the oil and gas sectors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong grasp of process engineering principles.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
