GreenDrop facilitates donations on behalf of our nonprofit partners, providing them with essential funding to support their missions. The items donated by the community are then resold in local thrift stores, giving them a second life. Discover more about GreenDrop on our website.

Key Responsibilities:

· The GreenDrop Site Attendant plays a vital role in our success, ensuring we deliver exceptional service to our donors daily.

· The Site Attendant will exemplify our core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Essential Duties:

· Engage independently and collaboratively with donors, utilizing a positive and intelligent approach.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Greeting donors warmly while in full GreenDrop uniform.
  • Engaging in friendly conversation while collecting donations.
  • Assisting donors with unloading their items.
  • Using a tablet to record donor information.
  • Supporting truck drivers during donation pickups.
  • Organizing donations in the stockroom.
  • Maintaining cleanliness on-site, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Completing supply orders to ensure the site is well-stocked.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management.

· Must be present on-site during working hours.

· Must be able to fulfill essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.

Required Skills and Attributes:

· Ability to work independently without constant supervision.

· Exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong desire to provide outstanding service.

· Capability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently throughout the day.

· Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

· Positive attitude, punctuality, strong sense of urgency, and initiative in job responsibilities.

· Strong communication skills to interact positively with donors, colleagues, and management.
